Yesterday, I told you that content is the key to succeeding online, and why you need a Content Ecosystem if you want to survive in the wild out there today.

Today, before I get to what a Content Ecosystem is, I need to issue a STARK WARNING.

Have you ever tried to run ads on Facebook or Google, or get links from other sites, or write articles, or do ANY kind of traffic technique, but FAILED?

Want to know one of the biggest reasons for failure?

Lack of content.

You can have the best article, ad, or “cool gooroo traffic trick” in the world, but if you can’t seriously impress people when they land on your website, then you’re done.

And if you can’t capture those leads and follow up with them, you’re done too.

And if you can’t create a decent product to sell to them, then, guess what?

Yep, you’re done.

See, when I landed on national media across US and Canada, I knew I’d be getting a ton of traffic to my site.

Now, without content, without any way to capture those leads, without stuff to sell them, it would all be a…

BIG WASTE OF TIME –!

Turns out, I now have a thriving six figure business.

I’ll let you connect the dots there.

So, take if from someone who’s been there and still does it…
… if you’re ever going to getting traffic, you need content first.

  • Not just a few articles on your blog or website.
  • Not just one product.
  • Not just one email follow up.
  • You need A LOT of content.
  • Quality content, too.

And if you’re wondering how I got featured on the news, then here’s the big secret:

I used a ton of content to syndicate around the web, until it was literally IMPOSSIBLE for any reporter or news agency (or potential customer) to NOT see my name and links to my site.

It’s really not that hard.

But ya’ need content, young grasshopper. GOOD content and lots of it.

This may seem obvious now, but there’s another simple “trick” to making this work, and I’ll talk about that tomorrow.
