TIPS:
- This email works best RIGHT after they signed up to your list. For example, when someone opts-in to get a free resource or handout, you send them a "here's your download link" email, right?
- Well, what we've found gets the most POWERFUL results is to send this "P.S." email at the same time, but the trick is... send it as a SEPARATE email.
- So your client will get two emails at the same time. 1) The download link email. 2) This "P.S." engagement email. It works exceptionally well because it seems more personal.
- Keep this email as simple and short as possible. Don't stuff it with links to your products or services.
- No link is best to get the most replies. And text-only or very simple HTML is best (i.e. just bolding).
- If you were to send an email to a client or friend, you wouldn't put it in a fancy email template, right? And you wouldn't be trying to sell them hard, right?
