We're living in very uncertain times with everything that's happening worldwide with the Coronavirus.
0:05
Firstly, we want to assure you that everybody here at PLR.me
0:08
is fine, and we wanted to record this special video to tell you that now more than ever, your tribe need you.
0:16
You're going to find out how you can help your tribe and continue to make money during this difficult time.
0:28
hi there.
0:28
It's Richard Butler, director of education at PLR.me
0:33
and we wanted to put together this short video to tell you how you can be cup of mind with your tribe during this difficult time.
0:41
You see, we've been asked a lot of questions by our clients, should I continue to promote products?
0:47
Should I continue to publish content?
0:50
Should I continue to offer services?
0:52
If I do offer services, should I discount them?
0:55
Should I give everything for free to help people?
0:59
And I'm here today to answer those questions and to show you how you can help your tribe during these difficult times.
1:07
Right now we have a great opportunity for you to help people be top of mind and to continue generating an income.
1:16
While we have this Coronavirus issue, many people have asked us, should I keep producing content?
1:23
Should I keep promoting content?
1:26
Should I produce more content to sell or what people think that I'm profiting from the opportunity?
1:32
What do you see?
1:32
It's very important that you are still top of mind with your tribe because they will look to you for guidance, for assurance and help.
1:40
And yes, now more than ever, you need to help your tribe and you can continue to earn an income while you do.
1:46
The important thing here is not to think that you're taking advantage of the situation or not to come across as taking advantage of the situation, but to come across as being there as a support mechanism, as a rock, as somebody who is going to help those in need.
2:04
So let's look at some facts.
2:05
So right now while I'm recording this video in mid-March, the Coronavirus is spreading more and more in Europe and in the United States.
2:13
This has led to many countries enforcing policies of asking workers who can to work from home.
2:20
Parents have to stay at home because schools have closed.
2:23
Students are coming back from college because college classes have been canceled.
2:28
There's a lot more people who need support.
2:30
When you think about it, you're at home, you're not used to working from home.
2:35
Perhaps you're not used to having your child 24 hours a day.
2:39
So this is going to cause distractions for those working at home.
2:42
This is going to cause stress and tension in relationships and parents are going to be asking what can I do with my children to keep them active?
2:51
What about people's health?
2:52
They can no longer go to the gym so they need somebody to help them with you.
2:56
Nutrition, diet, exercise and hopefully you are now seeing that there is an opportunity to move more of your business online in order to help more people.
3:06
What I'm going to do in this video is I'm going to look at items like business continuity planning, working from home, dealing with anxiety and worry, dealing with relationships, dealing with mental health in general and dealing with parenting.
3:20
And what I want you to think about is, well, how can I use these different ideas and these different strategies within my business?
3:29
Because maybe you're not a business coach, maybe you're not a parenting coach, maybe you have a very specific niche, but you can take these ideas and use them as well.
3:38
So as a business coach, you can offer your services of contingency planning and talking to business leaders on the importance of ensuring that their staff feel well cared for and the number one priority of the business, yes, the business must continue, but this is an ideal opportunity for business leaders to really win over their staff by assisting them as much as possible during the transition time of working from home.
4:06
And businesses aren't going to have to change.
4:08
And this could be another opportunity to help businesses change from the traditional working at an office scenario to working in the home scenario.
4:19
So you could go to local businesses, you could talk to them about good leadership, you could do, um, sessions for their staff remotely on time management, on how to be procrastination.
4:32
And I'll be showing you some bundles later on this video that have ideal resources for, you know, for employees if they've never worked from home, this is a huge problem because they don't know what to do.
4:44
They don't have a timetable or routine.
4:47
They may find it very difficult to stay away from the fridge.
4:50
Um, I'm guilty of that.
4:51
Uh, they may find that the social interaction is very difficult if their partner is also at home and their children, how do they divide up their time to make sure that they spend time with their family, but they also put in the working hours that they're meant to put in.
5:07
So here you could definitely talk about work life balance and how to be able to switch off at 6:00 PM and not continue working late into the night as a wellness coach or a mental health coach or a life coach in general.
5:21
You need to make sure that your audience know that worry and anxiety is natural at this time, but you can use our resources to help them realize that we can only take precautions, but we don't know what the future holds, but they need your support now.
5:39
They need you to give them the reflections, post the articles, post the wallpapers on social media to assure them that worry is natural, but we can get through this, and again, I'm going to show you a bundle later on in this video that will help you with that.
5:55
No, if you're a relationship, you could have a lot of business during this period because families stuck together.
6:02
Even the best of relationships can break down during these times because people are stressed.
6:08
People talk about politics.
6:10
People just are not used to being in each other's pockets 24 hours a day.
6:15
So as a relationship coach, you can definitely give tips on how to improve your relationship, how to make sure that both parties in a relationship are communicating clearly and that each person is having their own space.
6:29
Now what about a parenting coach?
6:31
Well, how do you actually parent a child all day?
6:35
It's a good question because when you think about it, a lot of the times our children aren't in school and afterschool activities and we may only see them in the morning and the evening.
6:44
But now we have a situation where we will see them every single hour of the day.
6:48
And that can be difficult.
6:50
A rather sad article that I saw was, um, the usage of fortnight, uh, that video game that everybody seems to be playing has increased substantially in Italy as parents allow their children to actually play online and to play, uh, computer games in general.
7:08
Now obviously this is not the best way to parent and maybe it's because parents only know this way.
7:15
So as a parenting coach, what you can actually do is you can start showing them skills of parenting, which they may have forgotten.
7:23
You can start giving them ideas of activities that they can do with their children in order to actually interact and to keep them occupied.
7:32
Now was an ideal opportunity for kids to actually learn how to draw, how to write, how to paint.
7:38
There is so much more that they can do without the technology.
7:41
And you know, really as parents, we need to make sure that during this time the kids are not just stuck in front of a screen and that they are enriching their minds as well.
7:51
Now of course, many schools will have changed over to an online model and we'll try to give classes online.
7:57
So this is important.
7:59
But there's also the idea of, as a parenting coach, teaching parents to teach their children about the internet, about misinformation, about not being glued to information, and then getting so upset because of what they read, which leads to anxiety, which leads to worry, et cetera.
8:18
So there's a, there's a big market here of where you can help.
8:22
No, if you're a financial coach, again, there is a, there's a lot that you can help with here because people may find that their companies have to reduce their hours, have to reduce our salaries because of a, an economic recession that may come or just general downturn in business.
8:42
So you could talk about frugal living.
8:44
Maybe we have to tighten our belts a little bit during this time.
8:47
Maybe we have to decide not to buy.
8:50
If we can, um, so much food, maybe we need to shop less and also maybe we need to budget a little bit better so you can use the articles from PLR.me
9:04
to actually help your clients budget better and to actually make sure that they are not putting themselves under a financial strain by buying more things than they actually need at the moment.
9:14
Now, one of the things that you as a coach have to be able to get over is this idea that people will think you're trying to profit from the situation.
9:20
No.
9:21
Um, you are there to help them.
9:23
You will probably be giving more free content because you always need to come across obviously as being congruent and as being there for people.
9:32
If you suddenly disappear, people are going to start to get worried.
9:36
People are going to say, well, where's Richard?
9:37
I used to always see him on social media.
9:39
I used to always see emails from promoting a course and now he's gone.
9:44
He was my rock.
9:45
He gave me the information that I needed.
9:48
So you need to be there for your tribe and don't feel bad about promoting your services.
9:53
Now the other question that people have asked us as well, do I give my stuff away for free?
9:57
Because everybody is feeling the pinch?
9:59
Do I reduce my prices?
10:03
But the answer is actually no.
10:05
Why?
10:05
Because if you start giving everything for free, those who have paid for your courses are going to get annoyed and rightfully so because they paid for the course, which you are now giving for free.
10:14
If you discount it, the same thing could happen.
10:17
So what you could actually do is you could say, well now I have a payment plan in operation.
10:23
So instead of paying me $99 a month for whatever the service may be, you can pay $45 at the beginning of the month.
10:32
and $45 at the end of the month.
10:35
Now, this may mean that you have to slightly change the way you deliver content if you have a membership site, et cetera, but give options to people to be able to pay over two or three weeks or months.
10:47
Now, you may also have to change your refund policies on this because if you are giving everybody the content straight away and they've only paid one installment, well then you might have to say, well, there's no refunds or cancellations because they're doing two installments, but don't necessarily reduce your price.
11:03
No.
11:03
I do think though, what you need to do is you do need to actually publish more free content to be top of mind, to get people to come to your website, to make people aware that you are there.
11:16
You are a show of strength that you are available for people if they need you.
11:21
Again, there's always a fine line between giving too much free content so that people just expect and are trained to receive free content from you and actually providing extreme value.
11:31
What I'm going to do now is show you onscreen a number of bundles that you can use and give you ideas on the type of resources that you can use and how you can actually publish these.
11:43
So let's take a look at a couple of bundles.
11:45
And of course with a bundle you are saving credits, you're getting 21 don't for you brandable resources and you're getting a 32% discount based on the price.
11:54
If you were to buy these individually, no, if you have a look here, we're getting affirmations and eBooks and action guides.
12:01
So this one here is parenting principles and eight principles to raise healthy kids and build a happy home.
12:06
So this can of course be used at this time.
12:10
And if you have a look, it's an extensive report.
12:12
My suggestion would be to take some of the content here, create a very short Facebook live, link it to the actual full book that people can purchase, download, and then have a follow up more in depth webinar in order to help parents during this difficult time.
12:31
And one of the things you can do, and I recommend this for all of the resources, is you could do like express coaching, which would be a 15 minute coaching session with an individual parent for let's say $20 so that you can work through any of the problems that they may be facing with their children during this time that the children are at home.
12:52
So stress is a huge thing.
12:53
And one of the things that we can do is we can look at our positive thinking, PLR bundle, again, saving 19% by buying this bundle.
13:03
And you will see we have articles and blog posts.
13:05
Turn those into videos, turn those into podcasts.
13:09
We have a checklist.
13:10
We have wallpapers, ideal for publishing on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
13:18
Now, if you have a look here, um, how stressful thinking affects you, nine ways to overcome negative thoughts and think positively how to replace negativity with positivity and change your results.
13:30
So these could be used as um, general stress relieving techniques during this media bombardment that we have at the moment regarding the Coronavirus.
13:42
Just going down here, we have a checklist for keeping a positive attitude.
13:46
So what you could do here with this checklist is you could branded with your corporate branding, give it out for free, make sure there's a link to an offer on your website, which could be a free webinar that you monetize.
13:58
Or it could be a schedule a call with me link.
14:01
But something that when people go to your website, you can capture their email address or you can get them to purchase something.
14:07
Our images are ideal for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.
14:11
So publish one of these every day for the next five, six, seven days and look for more images that you can actually then also publish.
14:21
Our motivational quotes are excellent as well for doing a good morning.
14:25
Let's start the day.
14:26
In a positive manner.
14:27
You're going to have a podcast you do every day.
14:29
You could have a Facebook live every day that people can join to listen to these quotes and get some inspiration to start the day.
14:38
Now, one of the things I do think is important at this time and and in any times of stress, is to be more mindful and to actually ensure that people are being more in the moment and also that they're disconnecting from everyday life.
14:53
So here we have some great resources.
14:55
So we have this action guide, how to meditate.
14:58
And maybe you do this as a Facebook live where you actually have a live meditation session.
15:03
So if you are a yoga coach or a meditation coach, there's nothing to say that you couldn't do this in a group setting virtually so that people can continue their meditative practice or their yoga practice.
15:16
No, of course.
15:16
Sitting at home, working from home, I not been able to go to the gym is going to be a huge problem over the next couple of weeks or perhaps months.
15:24
So what about bringing the gym to your people as a weight loss coach or a fitness coach?
15:30
You could have a virtual gym sessions.
15:33
Either you could record yourself doing the exercises and sell that as a service to your clients.
15:38
Or you could do one on one personal training because you could do it with via Skype, via FaceTime, uh, via another platform where you watch as they do the exercises and you demonstrate the exercises.
15:50
The really important thing to realize here is there are opportunities for you to continue to make money.
15:55
So those are just some of the bundles that I wanted to highlight.
15:58
There are more in the description out.
16:00
Of course you can go and you can search through the bundles that we actually have to find something.
16:07
So the message here is don't let the Coronavirus stop you.
16:11
It may be halting the economy, it may be forcing people to work from home.
16:15
It may be forcing businesses to stop, but you can transition more of your business online and let your clients know that you are there to support them 110% during this time.
16:29
Publish more content.
16:31
Get on Facebook lives, do YouTube videos, let people know you are still there.
16:36
Be top of mind.
16:37
While other coaches may be scratching their head thinking, how can I survive during this time?
16:41
Now, you can not only help people but thrive.
16:44
I would really love to know what you think.
16:47
I would love to know your idea.
16:48
So please leave us a comment below and if you appreciate our videos, please do give us a little like and subscribe to our channel.
16:56
I'll talk to you in the next video.
16:57
Stay safe.
