Time is "march"-ing on. I crack myself up with these jokes,
0:03
but the creation of content and my one flight is my corny jokes. Never stop.
0:08
Okay. So keep watching,
0:10
as I show you how to use linking strategies to boost your content reach,
0:14
we even talk about 1980s video games and how they can help your clients.
0:19
Wow. What's in store. Let's find out.
0:27
Good day to you all. It's Richard Butler,
0:29
director of education and corny jokes here at PLR.me and March
0:33
is upon us giving us, Oh,
0:35
so many great holidays to share with our tribe and a wealth of opportunities
0:40
to share content in many innovative ways.
0:43
And of course this month is the start to spring.
0:46
I believe a ton of change and perhaps nicer weather.
0:50
Now let's spring into action. Okay. Corney joke.
0:54
But before I get carried away,
0:56
make sure you click that subscribe button and pick that
1:01
notification bell.
1:02
So you're the first to know about our free training videos.
1:06
As soon as we upload them.
1:08
And just in case you didn't know each and every month we put together a content
1:12
marketing calendar for every month of the year with over 200
1:16
holidays and events paired with several marketing ideas that you can
1:21
implement straight away in your business. Not only this,
1:26
we also provide links for you to the done for you content.
1:29
So you don't have to write from scratch ever again,
1:33
just download content and branded as your own.
1:36
The link for the March content calendar is in the description below. Now,
1:40
remember all our content is delivered in editable formats,
1:44
meaning you can download it, edit, tweak it, chop it, change it,
1:49
add to it and publish it under your own brand. Pretty awesome. Right?
1:53
But time is marching on out of that. Boom.
1:57
So let's look at what holidays are in store for us this month.
2:01
March 1st World Complement Day, March 3rd.
2:06
I want you to be happy day, March 10th, Mario Day,
2:09
March 16th, Everything You Think is Wrong Day.
2:14
March 17th St. Patrick's Day
2:17
March 20th World Storytelling Day
2:20
March 30th Take a Walk in the Park Day.
2:25
March 1st is World Compliment Day and when was the last time you gave or received a compliment? Think about it.
2:29
It seems that it's something so easy to give. Yeah,
2:33
we can sometimes forget to do it and it costs nothing.
2:36
Did you know that some people actually get embarrassed when somebody
2:41
gives them a compliment? If you say something nice to me in the comments below,
2:45
I'm not going to get embarrassed. I can tell you that much,
2:47
but maybe that is you are somebody in your tribe that gets embarrassed.
2:51
But today you want to talk about the power of giving compliments of saying,
2:55
wow, you look great or job well done again.
2:59
If you want to put a compliment in the comments, do just go ahead.
3:03
One reason why our tribe may not be able to give or receive compliments is
3:08
that they lack a little self-confidence. Yeah. Believe it or not.
3:11
Maybe their internal dialogue is too.
3:14
Your not good enough.
3:16
Who are you to receive a compliment or to give a compliment.
3:20
Depending on their upbringing. This may have been drilled into them.
3:24
Now this can come up in any coaching session and maybe a fundamental cause of
3:29
problems.
3:29
No matter if you are a fitness executive or even a parenting coach,
3:34
why not give a free webinar today using this resource 14 ways to
3:39
boost your confidence, cheat sheet and set a challenge for one week.
3:43
They must compliment themselves each and every day and compliment
3:48
somebody else. I make a note of the differences they feel in themselves.
3:53
So by keeping a note of all of the compliments they give and all of the
3:57
compliments they receive, they're going to notice a difference in how they feel.
4:01
Try it yourself. It's amazing how this can change your outlook.
4:06
March 3rd is I want you to be happy day.
4:10
Now you could link March 1st to today and tell your audience that you want them
4:14
to be happy as happy is a great state to be in right. Much better to be happy.
4:19
As I get older, I've started to think about this more.
4:22
I think why feel other emotions rather than happiness after all time is
4:26
marching.
4:26
No, hold on Richard, is this going to be a running joke throughout this video.
4:30
Today's world? How can we be happier? So might even ask, well, is it possible?
4:35
Well, the answer is, of course it is.
4:38
And here's a great resource that you can share with your tribe today.
4:42
Three simple steps to happiness.
4:45
Now what I would do is I would engage your tribe by asking them if it is
4:49
possible to change your state of mind and be happy. And if so,
4:53
how long will it take? You see many things that to be happy,
4:57
you need to go to the top of a mountain and yeah.
5:00
And meditate for 12 hours a day while this can certainly bring
5:04
enlightenment. Sometimes we need to find happiness, right?
5:09
Where we are. So why not run a workshop and base it on the resource?
5:14
Three simple steps to happiness.
5:15
You could then schedule a paid monthly group called,
5:19
called the happiness clinic.
5:20
Each group member would have to write down one thing that brought them happiness
5:25
each and every day for a month.
5:28
This call would be a place where your members can share their happy moments that
5:32
they recorded. Nothing is too small.
5:34
It could be that you maybe saw a happy couple walking down the street who seemed
5:39
to, so in love the feeling of happiness,
5:41
as you realize that you are eating better, there's so many opportunities.
5:45
The key is to celebrate happiness. And remember,
5:48
this can be linked back to March. First of world, cup Clemente,
5:52
the happier you become, the more you're going to compliment yourself and others.
5:56
March 10th is Mario date. Oh,
5:58
that's sweet sound of eight bit computer games.
6:01
Some of you may not even remember or know what I'm talking about,
6:05
but those were great games. Yesterday year,
6:08
those were simpler times of collecting coins and defeating end of level
6:13
bosses and jumping up platforms. Hi,
6:15
I'm getting carried away here and a little bit emotional, but hold on a second.
6:18
How can an Italian character from a video game help your clients like come on?
6:23
Well, that is a great question. Let me think about this.
6:26
I guess now I remember remember the saying all work and no play
6:31
makes Jack a dull boy. Poor old Jackie really gets a hard time. Well,
6:36
today you can talk to your tribe about the fun you used to have playing
6:41
arcade games or board games,
6:43
if you wish and how it used to help you relax,
6:46
you can continue and tell them that it is so important to be able to
6:50
disconnect. And you could do this by playing games, by watching TV,
6:54
by spending time with the family, there's nothing wrong with disconnecting.
6:58
You see many people have this notion that being busy means they are being
7:03
productive. And this is far from the truth. In fact, today,
7:07
you could ask your tribe to conduct a productivity audit. Now,
7:11
what do I mean by that? Well,
7:12
they need to see how productive they really are and how busy they are.
7:16
The results may start with them. I remember reading an article.
7:19
So that said for every hour of work you make,
7:22
be productive for just 15 or 20 minutes.
7:26
Why emails notifications your phone?
7:29
People ringing you people passing by a desk, you going for the coffee.
7:34
So think about that.
7:35
You may be busy and you may be doing things in researching on the internet,
7:38
thinking that you are actually being productive, but you're not.
7:41
And I think the following article,
7:43
why being busy can be unproductive would be a great starting point today to
7:47
talk about a number of topics such as taking breaks,
7:51
time management procrastination. In fact,
7:54
this could become the basis as for the course that you could put together
7:57
entitled how to do more in less time. Actually, I really liked that title.
8:01
I might do something with that myself. Now let's be really honest here.
8:04
Have you found that sometimes you are busy doing nothing?
8:08
I know I have this state of being busy kind of factors are irrespective.
8:12
If you're a coach who works with couples who works with executives,
8:15
who works with, if you're a dietician and nutritional coast,
8:19
let me tell you it's time to stop getting busy. Ooh,
8:23
it will behave a hundred start getting productive.
8:26
Sometimes less will actually be more March 15th
8:30
is everything you think is wrong. Now,
8:33
imagine if you found out that everything that you think is actually wrong,
8:37
would that be a good or bad thing? Well, honestly it depends,
8:42
but maybe just maybe your clients are struggling because they need to
8:46
change how they think and their internal dialogue.
8:50
Maybe they believe they can't do things, right.
8:52
Maybe they have been told they are always doing things wrong.
8:57
Now you could link this back again to March 1st world compliment day to say that
9:01
maybe nobody has complimented them on their work.
9:04
Perhaps they're not making decisions because they fear that what they will do
9:09
is going to get a negative result. Again,
9:11
this can happen in all areas of coaching,
9:14
the executive that won't make decisions in their business for fear of something
9:18
going wrong.
9:19
The parent who won't enact strategies to discipline their children because
9:24
well, they believe it won't work. The client who is trying to lose weight,
9:28
but won't go to the gym.
9:29
As everybody will look at the policy that doesn't happen in the gym I have
9:33
learned. And it's a well-established fact that decision making is like a muscle.
9:38
The more you exercise it,
9:39
the better and stronger that decision muscle becomes and the better decisions
9:44
you will make today, you need to share this reflection called even wrong.
9:47
Decisions are better than no decisions you see in neuro-linguistic
9:52
programming. We say that there was always a choice.
9:55
And by not making a decision, you have exercised your right to not choose those.
10:00
You've actually made a choice for you need to tell your tribe that they need to
10:04
think about what they are doing or not doing and trust in themselves more.
10:09
And that that decision that they are making is actually the correct one for them
10:14
in their present moment. So maybe lead a workshop,
10:17
a bank decision-making as well so that people can see how decisions can be made
10:22
March 17th, St. Patrick's day. Okay.
10:25
Before we talk about today, please. No funny Irish music,
10:30
no mention of leprechauns and no fun for laugh. Okay.
10:34
Just a little eight hours lay down. Okay. That's it guys.
10:39
You're not gonna play anymore music or corny leprechauns or anything. Perfect.
10:43
Perfect. No St. Patrick's day or party state,
10:46
but never Patty's day. Our paths day, our St.
10:49
Patty's day when people say it wrong, it makes me wait for it.
10:54
Green with anger. I don't know.
10:57
I sometimes I crack myself up, but sometimes I worry, but anyways,
11:01
there's a saying that says the luck of the Irish. And is it true? Well,
11:05
who knows? But you know, I've won the lottery twice this year. Honestly.
11:09
I don't think that's luck. As you know,
11:11
this happens to most Irish people every year.
11:14
I'm only joking that with some Irish humor, come on,
11:18
Richard focus, people will argue back and forth about luck,
11:23
but it seems to be an established fact that luck is simply making sure that
11:28
you are ready when an opportunity arises our investors lucky.
11:33
Well, sometimes,
11:34
but for sure they are ready when a good opportunity arises our
11:38
successful coaches, lucky, well, probably not,
11:41
but they saw an opportunity and they were ready to seize it.
11:45
Now you've been very lucky because you have seized or could be about to seize
11:49
the opportunity of plr.me, but more about that. Uh, at end of the video,
11:54
I think a podcast today would be a great way to convey this. So your audience,
11:58
remember you could do this as a Facebook live and then extract the audio
12:03
from the video yourself, or get someone on Fiverr to do it for you. fiverr.com,
12:08
a great place for getting small jobs done,
12:10
but talk to your tribe about how they can increase their luck so that they
12:15
too,
12:15
and be that lucky executive who seems to win the deals that lucky parent whose
12:19
kids are. So well-behaved that lucky person who got fit no matter what,
12:24
again, it's about opportunity taking action.
12:27
So use the resource strategy she's to increase your luck. But of course,
12:31
this could also be used. If you're working with a client who says,
12:35
I always have bad luck, tell them that it's just a state of mind,
12:38
link back to March 15th. Everything you think is wrong day. Because again,
12:43
this is just a belief that they have, which actually is probably wrong.
12:47
March 20th is world storytelling day.
12:50
Once upon a time in a nutso distant past, it was a young man called Richard.
12:54
Richard wanted to create videos and become a YouTube star,
12:58
but he didn't know where to start. Or Richard, I see your talent,
13:02
make some videos for plr.me. The rest,
13:05
as they say is history. Okay.
13:08
A nice story with a Amara plr.me Rux but seriously guys
13:13
becoming a good storyteller is an essential skill that you need
13:18
to master because it makes something that could potentially be boring.
13:23
More interesting. Think of these videos. They're so interesting, right?
13:26
You love them. But think about a recent book you read or a movie you watched.
13:30
Well, if you strip everything away at it, it might simply be boy meets girl.
13:34
They fall in love. They have some issues. They break up, they reunite.
13:38
They live happily ever after very standard plot,
13:42
but each director or writer makes things interesting. Again,
13:46
like how my videos are so entertaining, but this comes back to my uncle,
13:50
James Murphy, who would sit us down, be the fire. You're not covered. Okay,
13:55
I'm going to stop with all of this. But you may be asking as a coach,
13:57
how can you be a storyteller and why? Well,
14:00
you're on video doing a podcast or even writing a sales letter.
14:04
You want to make sure that you engage your reader,
14:08
that you enthrall them and you bring them into your world.
14:12
They then identify with you and your brand and we'll form a connection.
14:17
But you see there's another important reason to be a good storyteller.
14:20
When we tell a story, people relax, they let their guard down.
14:24
They're not being lectured to after all. It's just a story.
14:27
But what they may not realize is that there is a moral to your story or that you
14:31
are leading them on a path to purchase your product or your
14:36
service. If you're interested, I may put together a video about this,
14:40
just leave the following in the comments. What's the starting and bonus points.
14:45
If you tell me what that means. So today share a free video with your tribe,
14:50
talking about storytelling,
14:51
asking them what stories are they telling themselves about how they can't
14:56
do something or are not good enough. Again,
14:59
tie this back to everything you think is wrong day,
15:02
and you could use this resource, how to become a better storyteller today.
15:07
You can tell your clients that they can and should rewrite their internal
15:11
stories. I'm on. There is so much that you could do here with, again,
15:15
going back to everything you think is wrong or a compliment day, et cetera.
15:20
But your first step is to use this article,
15:22
how to become a better storyteller to start you off March 30th is
15:27
take a walk in the park day. Well,
15:30
I think it's been quite an intense video so far.
15:33
So now it's time to relax a little and maybe just take a walk in the park to the
15:38
art of storytelling there, how it connected the last holiday to this holiday.
15:43
I'm not just a pretty face.
15:44
Yes.
15:47
Final holiday today is take a walk in the park,
15:50
an ideal holiday to link back to Mario day and how being busy
15:55
is not always productive and why you need to take time out and time out from
15:59
video games as well.
16:00
Of course now walking meditation is something that is amazing.
16:04
I don't know if you've ever done it.
16:05
It is where you go out and you go to a park or the countryside and you walk
16:08
really, really slowly and just be, just listen,
16:12
just take everything in. I've actually done walking meditation,
16:15
a number of times in a retreat.
16:17
And it is truly inspiring as you don't realize all the signs that are out there
16:22
in nature,
16:22
you're walking really slowly and you're taking everything into account again.
16:27
That's why it's not ideal to do it in the city because people will just get
16:30
annoyed with you. No matter what type of coach you are, who you are serving,
16:34
talking about,
16:35
taking your break or meditating is something that is going to help people so
16:39
much to study this resource today, just walking meditation work,
16:44
try it out. And maybe if you can,
16:47
you could lead a group on a walking meditation in the countryside. You walk,
16:52
you meditate and you get paid. It's pretty much a win-win situation.
16:57
I think speaking of walking,
16:58
we've actually come to the end of our journey and the end of the March video.
17:03
And one of the things I want you to do is to take action this month.
17:06
And step number one is to subscribe to this channel,
17:09
like the video and leave a comment. And of course,
17:13
if you're not already a member of plr.me,
17:16
maybe it's time to sign up and you know what?
17:18
You have absolutely no excuse as we're giving you two free credits.
17:23

17:25
no hidden if spots or small print. In fact,
17:29
every month we would give you two free credits, just as a way of saying...
17:34

17:37
Just go to plr.me and sign up guys. That was another great video.

17:47
